The next day, Matt ditches school and went to Skye's house, which he found out that Skye has a sister named Lisa, and she has mental problems. Then they went to the beach and Skye told Matt that her mom was used to do drugs and in order to have a normal life, she married a man named Lex.
Several days later, Skye took Matt to a party at the countryside, and during that party, Skye hit a drug dealer in the face to protect two innocent young girls. Days later, Skye told Matt to pick her up from her house and they went to a beach house. At the beach house, Skye told Matt that her step-father, Lex was sexually abused her since she was twelve. Afterward, Skye and Matt had sex, and he promised that he would do anything to make her happy...
The next time when Matt saw Skye, she was stealing a coat, which made him very disappointed, and he throw the coat away which made Skye really mad, and she took away Matt's car. Matt then called Taylor to pick him up, which he discovered that when Skye was twelve, she used Taylor to steal their history teacher's grade book and Skye burned it in her garage which cause the teacher's death. Matt also find out that Lex is Skye's real father.
Matt was confused about the lies that Skye told him about her past and her family, however he ignored the fact that she lied to him, and suggest Skye should do something about Lex, but Skye rejected Matt's idea. One day, Matt and Skye met at the beach house as usual, and Skye asks Matt to kill her parents for her. And Matt finally realized that Skye was using him the whole time.
Matt once tried to forget Skye, and he thought that Taylor may fall in love with him, but in turn out that Taylor already had a boyfriend. But at the same time, he realize that Skye probably didn't want him to kill anybody, but instead she wanted him to bring her safety
