Playing in Traffic,
written by Gail Giles in 2004, describes a story between Matt Lathrop and Skye Colby. Skye is a multipierced, multitatooed girl who "picks" Matt Lathrop, who is a unpopular guy in school, as her sercet boyfriend for some reasons. Their relationship is full of lies and conspiracies, but even though it is weird and unnatural, Matt falls in love with Skye and he is willing to do anything for her. As for Skye, she also falls in love with Matt, unexpectedly.
